Safe Ride Home is the largest and longest running designated driver company in the triangle. We are proud to say that we have been open and running continuously since 2007.
a. Our designated driver service costs: $15/Vehicle Delivery Fee + $3/Mile
b. Our team rental service costs: $50/Hour (3 Hour Minimum)
c. Our chauffer only service costs: $30/Hour (3 Hour Minimum)
d. Our large group/van service costs: $300 (First 3 Hours Included) + $30/Hour for Each Additional Hour
No! Our charges are exactly what you see above. We do not charge for extra people in your vehicle, multiple drop-offs, or even the occasional food/cigarette/beer stop.
We send two drivers, a “Chauffeur” and a “Chaser”. The Chauffeur drives you home in your car and the Chaser follows. Once the ride is over, the Chauffeur gets into the Chaser’s vehicle and the Chaser brings them to their next ride.
Absolutely! All of our drivers are screened thoroughly through a combination of background checks, sex offender registry checks, DMV records, and drug/alcohol tests. Your safety is important to us and we go above and beyond to protect you!
We pick-up from all major (and minor) venues in the area. Please make a reservation to allow us to get into the venue and pick you up on time!
No! We keep the same great prices all year and for all events. That’s right; it’s the same price on New Year’s Eve, St. Patrick’s Day, and from the Jimmy Buffet Concert as it is every other day.
Sure! Give us a call and we will do our very best to accommodate you. Typically this is not a problem. However, please give us a call a couple days ahead of your scheduled ride to help us assist you better.
Our service area is constantly expanding. Currently, we can handle any rides that pick-up OR drop-off in Wake County, Durham, or Chapel Hill. If you live outside of those areas and need a designated driver please call us and we may be able to assist or refer you to another company.
No! We pick-up from bars, restaurants, concerts, sporting events, homes, country clubs, or anywhere else you may be!
No. Unfortunately, we are not a taxi service and are not licensed to transport customers in our cars.
We drive cars of all makes, models, years, and types. Most of our Chauffeurs can drive manual transmissions. If you have a manual transmission or an unusual or oversized vehicle please let us know when making your reservation.
Reservations are not required for most pick-ups. We do request that you make a reservation for pick-ups from large venues or if you are requesting multiple cars at one time. However, we do accept ASAP pick-up requests. We are a first come, first served service so exact pickup times are only guaranteed with reservations.
We understand that unavoidable circumstances arise and appointments have to be cancelled or rescheduled. Remember, cancellation and/or rescheduling can be made 24 hours prior to your appointment. Any cancellation within the 24 hours will not recieve a refund. Please call us at 919-520-4496 during our regular business hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are unable to do this through our online booking system.
No. We would love for all of our customers to become members. However, we understand that most of our customers use us on an occasional basis. Our memberships offer awesome benefits and we would love to talk with you more about becoming a member if you are interested.
No. We do not store any credit card information for your safety and ours.
No. We focus our attention on the designated driver service and that service does not require a fleet of vehicles.
